Official British Bulldog Recruitment Notice: All available humans are hereby instructed to report for immediate ball-throwing duties. Successful applicants must demonstrate patience, enthusiasm and a complete willingness to retrieve any balls that their commanding officer decides are too far away to collect personally.
Important: This position offers unconditional loyalty, affectionate cuddles, enthusiastic greetings and occasional permission to sit on your own sofa. Working hours include mornings, afternoons, evenings and any moment when your Bulldog decides that a brief recreational activity might be worth the effort.
Additional Warning: Excessive snoring, dramatic sighing, suspicious grunting, selective hearing and the sudden refusal to retrieve a perfectly good tennis ball are considered normal working conditions. Complaints will be reviewed by British Bulldog management after their afternoon nap and promptly dismissed.
Special Instructions: British Bulldogs are not designed for endurance sports, so all recreational activities should be kept gentle, brief and appropriate for their individual abilities. Regular rest breaks, fresh water and avoiding hot weather are essential. Your commanding officer may insist that they're ready for another game, but responsible humans are expected to know when enough is enough.
