Featuring the wonderfully deadpan title “Advanced Sock Acquisition Theory,” the design shows a determined dog making its getaway with a freshly acquired sock, surrounded by vintage scientific diagrams, equations and calculations examining everything from initial acquisition and escape velocity to owner reaction time, obstacle navigation, sock security and the probability of successful retrieval. Even the route to the nearest safe zone is carefully mapped, because successful sock theft is apparently a highly technical operation.

Created in a distressed vintage scientific textbook and engraved illustration style, the design combines old-school educational graphics with classic dog-owner humour. Perfect for dog mums, dads, serial sock replacers and anyone who regularly discovers half their laundry in a dog bed, it celebrates those four-legged researchers who continue pushing the boundaries of canine science. As the design concludes: “Some call it stealing. I call it research.”
